Free Tuition For Vets at Benedictine University

On May 11, 2008, Benedictine University announced an extension of its "First Responder " Program which offers free tuition to police and firemen to include military vets returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. G.I. Bill benefits have not kept pace with the rising cost of a college education. Benedictine University has taken a giant step in the right direction. Wouldn't it be great if other private and public universities did the same? Who could be next? UC Berkeley? Yeah, and there won't be a Children's Museum in Grant Park.
