Ghandi, Mandela, King . . . Blagojevich?

Even by Illinois standards, this is astonishing chutzpah:

Is he 'cuckoo'? Or is he banking on constituents (and potential jury members) who are just that gullible? I don't think so. I think Blagojevich's media blitz (see Illinois Review's Blago's National Media Circus, Act 1, Act 2, Act 3, and Act 4) is primarily aimed at fellow politicians. Yes, he's proclaiming utter innocence and persecution, and for some, his guileless demeanor may be convincing. But before you step through Rod's looking glass, take another good, long look at this.

This morning on Good Morning America they failed to mention his political party affiliation. So he did it for them! What a kook.

Well, didn't get to see it, but just hearing about it was enough to make me laugh so hard I almost pd my drawers. This guy is the best thing that has happened to the Conservative movement in a long, long time! Bless his lost little soul. :-)
